well I booked a Birthday meal here for 30 guests, no deposit was required. The layout inside is simple with a large number of tables and chairs, the buffet set up in one corner of the restaurant, and a bar in another corner.
The staff are very friendly and the food is of a very high standard with a very good choice of dishes. When you factor in the price which at the time of this review came in at under six fifty a head the standard of the food is even more amazing.
Halfway through the meal Happy Birthday was played, much to the embarassment of my Wife, and a Black Forest Gateaux cake was brought to the table. There was no charge for the Birthday extras.
All in all a most enjoyable place to enjoy a meal at an almost unbelievable price. -

As far as cheap all you can eat goes, this is by far the best value for money. Yes, it is a little like a school canteen but i guess the theme here is 'stack 'em high, sell it cheap'. There is a massive range of dishes and the staff are efficient, not the most friendly mind. Not at all bad for something informal.

First went here during the day in the week when the queue at McDonalds was too big to bother with and a friend said lets give it a try,
we paid a fiver each and couldn't eat any more,
ice cream machine was broken and that was all I could fault,
I went a few times and always enjoyed it,
it wasn't until I went to the toilet that I had a bad experience,
the loo is downstairs and when I got there I passed the pot washing room with the door open next to the gents,
I cannot say that what I am about to disclose is normal but it put me off and I haven't been back since,
In the gents I found tea towels drying on the pipes and radiator..
That is all I have to say, I paid and left and that was two years ago -

A clean no frills joint close to the shopping area and great for a good quick lunch or dinner.
The food is plentiful with lots of variety, clean and wholesome. Attentive staff and a good attitude from all concerned.
Costs around a fiver and this depends on when you go there. More expensive on weekends, but also more variety on the weekends.
Overall a must go if you haven't been there yet. -

I come from the Isle of Man and we have nothing like this in the Island (all you can eat buffet). This as well as being dirt cheap, if go during the daytime on weekdays yet still relatively cheap during the evening of the weekends.
Food is half decent, with a wide range of foods available. Drinks are quite expensive, although they have to make profits somewhere. But I do have big issue with this restaurant: the service - soon as you clear your dish they yoink it away, they're trying move you on! Get there turnover as high as possible. Just ignore them, and eat at your own pace and go back as many times as you want! Make sure when you order a jugs of water to watch them, they use tap water! They keep a bottle of bottled water behind the bar to prove they use that - note where it's kept (next to a radiator)
Oh and by the way, if they suspect you to be a student, notice how wary they are of you, I visit Plymouth because I have friends down there who are uni students.
